flexibility and choices when it comes to what can be packed
through this style of machine.
Our latest
developments includes the ‘HF’ (Hot Fill) series of Vertical
Form Fill Seal Machines. These machines are designed specifically
for the automatic packaging of pumpable/liquid food products.
Typically the product is pumped into the machine at up to 92
degrees Celsius with all air being expelled from the bag via our
unique dedicated assembly prior to sealing the bag closed. This
system is ideal for cook/chill food service applications with
products such as soup, meat sauces, chilli con carne and
bolognaise as well as processed cheeses being packed in bags up to
10 kg in weight.
Particulate up to
35mm in diameter can run happily through our system without
damaging the product. For example, dill pickles in brine and
sliced fruit in juice. In fact anything that is traditionally
packed in a can will run well through this system.
Our Hot Fill
system offers considerable advantage over traditional canning
methods including reductions in packaging and transport costs as
well as offering the end user an easy open and convenient pack
style. Food manufacturers supplying the food service and
restaurant trade love the added ‘piping bag’ option which
gives their customer the ability to ‘snip’ the end off the bag
allowing for ‘easy pour’.
