Propac AV-2.2-CB
As one member of the latest
generation of Propac Continuous Motion Vertical Form Fill Seal
machines, the AV-2.2-CB
is set to bring the packaging of fresh cut salads to the next
level. After an initial installation packaging fancy lettuce for
retail, further customer orders have been received from other
players in this market.
With higher speed, gentle handling
and high quality packs being the main advantages gained from the
box motion technology, Propac have managed to migrate all the
machine features which they had developed for their widely adopted
AV-2.2 intermittent machine to the 'CB.
'We had a hell of a lot of
application experience built up from our intermittent machine
installation base in fresh cuts, these features were essential for
the successful deployment of the 'CB to this industry' said Craig
Pullen, Technical Director and founder of Propac.
With further projects in the pipe
line, it seems that the trust that End Users have developed in
Propac machines will translate to customer orders with existing
customers rushing to adopt this new technology.
