AV-**-CD Dropped.
In
a bid to offer only the most appropriate machines to End Users,
Propac have deleted their 'D' Action continuous motion models from
their range. It was decided that although the '-CD's offered a low
cost entry into the realms of high speed packaging, this
technology does not offer the flexibility that is at the core of
Propac's philosophies.
We feel that 'D' Action machines,
while elegant and fast ( both ours and our competitor's machines
), lack flexibility as compared to 'Box Motion' models.
Lower ultimate speed, limited bag styles and difficulty in
sealing heavy gauge films at high speed are some of the
disadvantages of any 'D' action or 'Rotary style continuous motion
VFFS machine in the view of Propac's Product Managers, "our
intermittent machines generally out perform 'D' Action machines in
all but the simplest applications.".
To fill the void left at the small
end by the departure of our AV-1.2-CD, Propac have released a new
model, the AV-1.2-CB, which is based on it's bigger brother,
AV-2.2-CB.
The AV-1.2-CDS' which is a
specially configured AV-1.2-CD, will be retained as a solution for
producing 3 sided sachet style bags.
